It has come to our attention that a group of university students may have been victim of credit card fraud in the week of August 13th. We, Proctortrack by Verificient, feel your frustration, however Proctortrack was not the source of this breach. A full audit of our databases and security technologies confirms this.
We want to affirm that we do not collect students’ credit card information or passwords and we take data security very seriously. Our proctors do not have access to your computers.
Our application does not collect keystrokes. We conducted 1000s of exams that week and no other institute reported any fraud. Proctortrack does not read any personal files or folders on your computer.
We have compiled more of such concerns at this FAQ page, please do take a look.
